Tom
Tom was born and grew up in and around Baltimore, MD, USA. Tom's focus has always been technical, studying physics in college at the University of Maryland, and doing graduate study in cosmic ray physics and nuclear interactions at the University of Minnesota, and was awarded the Ph.D. in 1986. Tom spent his standard professional life primarily working for NASA contractors at Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, doing high-level data analysis, software engineering and program management, resulting in a top performer award and many other technical successes. In recent years Tom has been a consultant leading and writing technical proposal efforts by contractor companies trying to win government work; his efforts were key in winning two $200 million NASA contracts for his clients. From this training and work Tom has a practical understanding of what it takes to make projects work, how to manage and work with people in a technical setting, how data and information are organized and applied, a working understanding of all branches of physics, as well as many specific technical skills.
Tom's interest in metaphysical issues dates from the time when he was browsing in a library when suddenly a book spontaneously fell off a shelf at his feet - "The Seth Material", by Jane Roberts. Reading this gave him chills, and he knew his life's calling was involved in seeing things differently than most people do. He consumed all the Seth books in no time, went on to Abraham-Hicks, and then arrived with his own brand of metaphysics.
Tom's philosophy is that all of us are limitless - it is only our own personal resistances that hold most of us back. Tom knows that each of us is capable of anything – if we have the ability to conceive it, the universe has the ability to deliver it. Tom found a group of like-minded people in the Enlightened Bastards, and together we have a vision of many things we will create that will make the world a better place.
One of Tom's particular focuses is the interplay between logic and intuition. Contrary to popular belief, all major scientific breakthroughs have been made through intuitive insights (e.g., dreams), and not logic; logic's role is to lay the groundwork for the "aha" moments, and enable subsequent integration with normal waking reality.
The first project on which Enlightened Bastards is collaborating is the energy machine for providing power to the home. The design of this machine is being entirely obtained through intuitive means, and a prototype constructed, by one of us (Jack Taylor). Tom’s role is to provide technical assistance, data acquisition and analysis support, documentation and financial support. This effort is extremely important not only in its obvious implications for the peoples of the world in receiving nearly no-cost energy; it is even more important for the practical and successful demonstration of the method of allowing intuitive information flow, which can be applied by anyone, anywhere, for any reason.
In our spirit of refusing to believe in lack of any kind, we will not patent this machine or any of our future creations. Instead, we will make the designs freely available to all. We do plan to make a profit on producing the machines for whoever is attracted to buying from us. We do not believe that we need to monopolize this in order to make tremendous amounts of money.
The thing that makes all this work is our strong intent in what we are doing, for ourselves and for the world, our knowing that we are essentially limitless, with the only limits imposed by ourselves, and our knowing in our own self-worth, and the unique contributions we each know we can contribute to the project, the company and the world. Plus we are just plain having fun!
